TRAINING

CONFINED SPACE TRAINING - 1 AND 2 DAYS
This course is designed for companies whose staff may be required to enter areas that are classified as Confined Spaces and where there may be a serious risk of injury or death. The aim of this course will be to provide awareness of a safe access and egress from a Confined Space and to have emergency procedures in place in the event of an emergency arising whilst operators are working in the confined space. This course will include the Confined Space Regulations 1997 and other relevant legislation.

FIRE WARDEN TRAINING
This half day course is an introduction to the basics of Fire Warden Training. Duties and Responsibilities involving those personnel who have been given responsibilities within your organisation. Fire Safety Training is not only a legal requirement; it can save lives and protect your business.

BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION HEALTH AND SAFETY AWARENESS
This half day course is for any person who is involved in the building and construction industries. Britain's construction industry employs 2.2 million people and is the most dangerous. In the past 25 years over 2,800 people have died from injuries they have received as a result of construction work with many more injured.

MANUAL HANDLING
This half day course is for any person who is involved in manual handling in the workplace. Over one third of all accidents reported to the HSE each year are from manual handling incidents. Back problems are one of the biggest causes of staff absences in the UK. This is often as result of poor manual handling techniques. By providing training/information you will help your staff to understand and look after their upper body and back when manual handling and lifting and thereby reduce time off work.

APPOINTED PERSON - EMERGENCY FIRST AID 1 DAY
Many smaller businesses find that they do not need a fully qualified first aider (first aid at work trained) . In this case, they require an 'appointed person' to deal with an emergency until qualified help arrives. The appointed person's emergency first aid course is recognised by the HSE and satisfies this minimum requirement. Anyone from your organisation can attend.
